I’m excited to share that my new book, Beyond The Pain: A Whole-Person Approach to Understanding Pain and Participating in Recovery, is officially out now.
I wrote this book for people living with chronic or persistent pain who still feel they do not have the full picture.
Maybe you have been told your pain is simply due to wear and tear, your age, your posture, or a scan finding.
Maybe you have tried treatment after treatment, only to find the pain keeps coming back.
Or maybe you just sense there is more to the story than you have been told.
That is exactly why I wrote this book.
Beyond The Pain is not about quick fixes or another one-size-fits-all solution.
It is about helping people understand pain through a whole-person lens — looking at how structural strain, metabolic health, nervous system sensitivity, stress, sleep, emotional load, breathing, behaviour, beliefs, and lifestyle can all interact.
The aim is to help people stop chasing symptoms blindly, start asking better questions, and begin participating more fully in their own recovery.
I also wrote this book for practitioners who want a broader framework for understanding why pain persists and what may actually support recovery.
You can order Beyond The Pain now.

Thank you so much for your support. This book has been many years in the making, and I truly hope it helps people understand pain in a deeper, more empowering way.
